  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Marinate chicken thighs for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. Pour leftover marinade into the skillet, add cornstarch to thicken, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet to coat with the sauce. Serve over jasmine rice garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
