  • 3 cups powdered sugar

  • 23 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  4. Mix in pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared sheets two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden; cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
