- Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

- Make streusel by combining flour and sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Divide risen dough into 8 balls; create indentations and fill each with apple mixture and streusel.
