Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 oz taco seasoning
  • 10 oz diced tomatoes and green chiles (undrained)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz Ranch dressing
  • 75 frozen phyllo tart shells (5 packs of 15-count)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chiles; mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese with Ranch dressing, then fold into the cooked meat mixture.
  5. Spoon the filling into each phyllo tart shell; freeze if not baking immediately.
  6. Place shells on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until heated through (increase time by 2-3 minutes if baking from frozen).
