  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • â…“ cup whole milk
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a taco-shaped baking mold or muffin tin.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
  3. Gradually combine dry ingredients with milk into the butter mixture until just mixed.
  4. Distribute batter into molds and bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  5. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
