- 1 cup powdered sugar (for the mint layer)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chopped chocolate in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar and melted chocolate mixture. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder; gradually fold into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
- For the mint layer, mix powdered sugar, milk, peppermint extract, and food coloring until you achieve your desired tint. Spread over cooled brownies and swirl gently with a knife.
- Refrigerate for one hour before cutting into squares.
