Ingredients
- 8 ounces egg noodles or rice noodles
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece ginger, minced
- 1 large carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Coat flank steak slices with cornstarch and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat; stir-fry beef until browned (about 3-4 minutes) then remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic, ginger, carrot, and bell pepper for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Whisk together sauce ingredients; pour over veggies and return beef to the skillet.
