Description

Loaded Baked Potato with Steak Bites is the ultimate comfort food, combining fluffy russet potatoes with savory steak bites, creamy cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and fresh chives.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub the russet potatoes and poke holes in them with a fork. Rub with olive oil and salt. Bake directly on the oven rack for 45-60 minutes until tender.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, season the steak bites with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add olive oil and cook for about 3-5 minutes until browned.
  3. Once the potatoes are baked, slice them open and fluff the insides with a fork. Top with cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and sour cream.
  4. Add cooked steak bites on top and garnish with chives before serving.
