  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 large egg
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, cumin, and egg. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs (about 1 to 1.5 inches) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While they bake, mix plain Greek yogurt with lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and dill or parsley for the yogurt sauce.
  6. Serve warm with yogurt sauce on the side.
