  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chicken pieces seasoned with salt and pepper in olive oil until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for one minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream while stirring constantly; bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked chicken and pasta into the sauce; toss until well coated.
