  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 2-4 minutes to desired doneness.
  3. Remove salmon from skillet. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
  4. Return salmon to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over each fillet for one additional minute.
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
