  • 4 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup dry red wine (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  6. Remove bay leaf before serving; garnish with parsley.
