  • 6 ounces white chocolate melting discs
  • 1/4 cup blue sanding sugar

Instructions

  1. Soak the cherries: Drain the maraschino cherries and refill the jar with vodka. Refrigerate for 2 days.
  2. Dry the cherries: After soaking, remove cherries from vodka and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate discs at 50% power in 30-second increments until smooth.
  4. Set up your dipping station: Pour blue sanding sugar into a small bowl and line a baking sheet with wax paper.
  5. Dip and decorate: Dip each cherry halfway into the melted chocolate, then immediately dip into sanding sugar. Place on the baking sheet.
