Instructions

  1. Cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually combine with wet ingredients.
  3. Chill dough for at least an hour. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  4. Shape dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set; cool on a wire rack.
  6. Whip cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
