  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar, sesame oil, and beef broth. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry broccoli for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp; remove from skillet.
  3. Add remaining oil to the skillet. Sauté sliced flank steak with garlic and ginger for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Return broccoli to the skillet, pour in the sauce mixture, and stir well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over cooked rice.
