Ingredients

  • 30 oz marshmallows (divided)
  • 18 cups puffed rice cereal (divided)
  • 9 oz unsalted butter (divided)
  • Red & blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 dish lightly and set aside.
  2. For the red layer: Melt 3 oz butter in a saucepan, add 10 oz marshmallows until smooth. Stir in red food coloring and mix with 6 cups cereal. Press into the dish.
  3. For the white layer: Repeat melting with no coloring, combine with another 6 cups cereal, spread on top of red layer.
  4. For the blue layer: Melt remaining butter and marshmallows, add blue food coloring and mix with last 6 cups cereal. Press on top of white layer.
  5. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
